Lanelle (Huskisson) Lee, 98, of Fountain Run, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 5, at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.
Lanelle was born in Barren County, KY on May 15, 1925, a daughter of the late Patrick H. and Annie (Steenbergen) Huskisson.
Lanelle was united in marriage to Jesse Elton Lee on November 23, 1942. Elton preceded her in death on March 2, 2017.
Throughout her life she worked at Brown and William Tobacco, Gamaliel Factory, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting. She was a member of Union #1 Missionary Baptist Church.
Lanelle is survived by her children, Allen Lee, of Scottsville, KY, Eric Lee, and wife, Donna Haynes of Glasgow, KY, Ann Steenbergen and husband, Charlie, of Scottsville, KY, Jan Sides of Manito, IL and Marietta Lee, of Fountain Run, KY; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
Other than her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by two sons, Jerry and George Michael Lee, two siblings, Honor Goad and Bessie Mae Wheat.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 9, at 1 PM at Fountain Run Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Dismon officiating. Burial to follow at Union #1 Cemetery.
Visitation is Saturday morning after 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Fountain Run Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lanelle’s memory may be made Union #1 Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fountain Run Funeral Home.
