June Arlene (Roseman) Mattox

June Arlene Mattox, 90, of Chalmette, LA formerly of Fountain Run, KY, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at Greenbriar Nursing Home in Slidell, LA . 
 
June was born in Johnstown, PA on June 14, 1932, a daughter of the late Kenneth Charles & Beatrice Bell (Bond) Roseman.

June was married to the late Rolland Lee "Shorty" Mattox, he preceded her in death February 1, 2009. She was a farmer, wife, grandmother, great grandmother and foster parent for years and attended Fountain Run First Baptist Church.  

June is survived by daughter, Elaine Cook of Chalmette, LA, son, Randy & wife, Carol Mattox of Madisonville, KY, four grand-daughters, Stephanie Wyrick, and husband, Daniel of Sharps Chapel, TN, Sharon Williams, and husband, Jason, of Scottsville, KY, Sherri Kirk, and husband, Sherman of Bowling Green, KY and Candace Crooke of Goshen, IN and two grandsons, Markus Mattox, and wife, Heather, of Glasgow, KY & Justin Crooke of Slidell, LA; siblings, Raymond Glenn Roseman New Castle, In & Violet Marie Hoff of Oxford, OH 15 great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Kayson, Justin, Jaxon, Jalen, Jada, Jarek, Colton, Ryan, Alex, Brody, Brock, Shaybri, Jaxtin and Samantha Dafforn and great-great grandchildren.
 
She is preceded in death by parents, husband, Rolland Mattox & son, Russell Mattox.

Graveside services will be held 12 noon, Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the Fountain Run Cemetery.
