Jimmie D Jordan

Jimmie D. Jordan, 93, of Fountain Run, KY, passed away Friday, January 7, 2021 at Monroe County Medical Center. Jim was born on May 7, 1928 in Barren County, KY. A son of the late Omer and Bedie (Simmons) Jordan.

He was married to Esther Lee (Underwood) Jordan, who preceded him in death December 2, 2015. They were married February 26, 1948 in Indianapolis, IN. He was a retired painter in the construction business. Other than his parents and wife he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, William & Elmer Jordan.

Jim is survived by a daughter, Joyce Garoutte, of Wesley Chapel, FL; two grandchildren, Bill Garoutte and wife Ellyn and Jennifer Garoutte.

Funeral services will be held at Fountain Run Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 18, 2021 at 1:00 PM, with burial to follow at Fountain Run Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday after 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM at Fountain Run Funeral Home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fountain Run Funeral Home.
