Betty (Parsley) Decker

Betty (Parsley) Decker, 75 , passed away Monday, June 14, 2021, at Signature Health Care of Glasgow, KY.

Betty was born in Barren County, KY on March 5, 1946, a daughter of the late Amos and Addie Mae (Gravens) Parsley.

On June 22, 1985, she married, James “Jimmy” Decker, who preceded her in death on January 13, 2016.

She had worked in the respiratory department of TJ Samson Community Hospital. She was a member of Bethesda Church of God in Glasgow, KY.

She is survived by a brother, Wayne Parsley, of Fountain Run, KY; a niece, Jordan Parsley Sparks, of Eagle River, Alaska, and a nephew, Sammie Parsley of Fountain Run, KY; a step daughter, Kimberly Wylie, and a step son, Mark Decker; and her beloved dog, Cassie.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 17, at 1:00 PM at Fountain Run Funeral Home. Visitation is after 11:00 AM at the funeral home until service time at 1:00 PM. Burial is in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
