Dad and entire family send our condolences. Dad said that he had a forever friend when he met Bill. He is a great man, serviceman... that served our country well, husband and father. He will miss him greatly. Our whole family send your family our thoughtful prayers.

Barbara. Lynn and Dave I am so sorry for your loss. William was a very sweet man. I am out of town and won't be able to come to visitation or the funeral. You are all in my prayers.

Though we only shared a few conversations over the years, I knew what a wonderful man William was through my friends, Louise Pardue and The Lees. I saw how much he loved and cherished Barbara and the kindness he showed to everyone. The world will be a sadder place without him but there is much joy in Heaven, I'm sure! One of the drawbacks of having a large and loving family is the slow but sure loss of their presence but that is balanced by the joy of knowing you will see them again in the Arms of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, where William now resides! I am sure Our Lord will provide much love and comfort for Barbara as she continues her journey. I only have my heartfelt condolences to offer the Family, at this sorrowful time, but I have Assurance that He will provide you with your needs, not only through this most difficult of days but always. May God Bless each and everyone and I will continue in prayer for your Family.

Sister Barbara, Lynn, David and extended family - We're so sorry for your loss but we know from his testimony that he is enjoying the bliss of heaven and the presence of the Lord. Many good memories from waaaaayyy back and thankful for the friendship of the Strode Family over the years, from Bro. Emmit on down. May the Lord bless you with comfort and strength for the days ahead. Though I cannot be there in person, our thoughts and prayers will be with you all. Jeff and family
