So sorry for the passing of your Dad. The picture has me wondering tho. Did he do molasses? Remember going with my dad when I was a little girl somewhere that did that. You got to keep him for a long time; that's a blessing.

To the Family and Friends of Mr. Elton,
I cannot imagine the loss you are feeling, less than a week after you lost your Son, Brother, Father, Grandfather and Friend, Mike. The I am finding it very traumatic after only knowing him for a few years. You were all, no we were all, truly Blessed to have him in our lives. He was a true hero, a man who never gave up! When I saw the photo of him outside whacking brush while on his walker, I had to send it to WBKO. To me, a Northerner by birth but a Kentuckian in my soul, he was Kentucky! A no nonsense man of few words and a strong faith, with a twinkle in his eye that touched your heart. There was nothing he wouldn't or couldn't do. Not long ago, at ninety eight years old, he went over to see his neighbor, who was not well...with his walker, across the road and up the drive. Yes, help had to be called, thank you, Larry, but he did it and I am sure that after the visit both he and William were Blessed. Now, he's with Our Lord and his Heavenly Family and Friends and I wonder if he isn't still working....God Bless you all, I loved him and I love you!
