Stella Gibbs, age 92, of Fountain Run, KY, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at NHC Health Care, in Glasgow KY.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Fountain Run Funeral Home with Brother Tim Eaton  and Brother Jimmy Finley officiating; interment will follow in the Wood Cemetery.

Visitation Friday, 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturday after 9 a.m. till service time at 2 p.m. at Fountain Run Funeral Home

Her survivors include, daughter, Bonnie Goodman & husband Ed of Fountain Run, son, Jimmie Daryll Gibbs & wife Bev of West Green, GA, Grandsons, Kevin Goodman & wife, Meshel of Fountain Run, Josh Gibbs an wife Sara of Santa Rosa, CA, Great Grandsons, William Goodman of Fountain Run, Jeffrey and John Gibbs of Santa Rosa, CA, two nephews, Butch Gibbs and wife Glenda of Houston, TX Bobby Joe Gibbs and wife Ann of Connersville, IN, two nieces, Shirley Bewley of Fountain Run, Pam Brown of St. Lucia, Fl., two sister-in-laws, Lorraine Gibbs of Houston, TX and Jean Fisher of Glasgow, a host of great nieces and nephews also survive.

Stella was born on July 10, 1923, a daughter of the late, Herbert and Lavada (Wood) Fisher.

She married John Ray “Jimmie “ Gibbs  on April 19, 1941.

Stella was a homemaker, she always helped on the farm and worked at Barren River Lodge.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jimmie, her siblings, Ruby Wheat, Helen Bewley, George, Mills and Jackie Fisher.
