Herlin Fay Davis, 63 of Fountain Run, KY passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Monroe County Medical Center.

He was born to the late Hobart and Velma (Cherry) Davis February 1, 1953 in Clay County, TN. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his, brothers Bill, Willis C. “Buck,” Gerald, sisters, Alta Krantz, Velma Dean Green and Shelby McPeak.

 He was a member of Dry Fork Church of Christ. He worked at Kentucky Apparel for many years.  

On November 29. 1977, he married Joyce Arterburn Davis.

His survivors include wife, Joyce Ann Davis of Fountain Run, KY; sons, Jason Davis and wife, Lyndsey of Fountain Run, KY, and Daniel Davis of Fountain Run, KY, one grandchild, Peyton Davis, sisters, Opal Knight of Hermitage Springs, Katherine Ford of Bugtussle and Shirley Wilder of Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3p.m. Friday, April 8, 2016  at Fountain Run Funeral Home with Art Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Neal Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, April 8, from 10 A.M.-3:00 P.M. at Fountain Run Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested for funeral expenses.
