Henry J Eaton age 81 of Shepherdsville was born May 16, 1934 to the late Paul H. and Alta Dismon Eaton and returned to his Heavenly Father April 7, 2016.

Mr. Eaton was a retired employee of 30 years for the Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company. He retired a second time after 24 Years of being the original "American Picker", owning and operating flea market businesses and a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War.

Among those who preceded him in death include his parents and his daughter, Phyllis Eaton; brothers, Carl, Ralph and James "Harmon" Eaton; nephews, Carl Eaton Jr. and Kerry Eaton.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving daughter and care giver, Donna Duke (Aaron); granddaughter, Melissa Eaton; niece, Pam McFarland (Kenny); nephews, Clark (Janice) and Mark Eaton; great nieces and nephews; extended family, Rex Smith (Rebecca), Ruby Gosnell, Ray Smith (Janice), Carroll Smith (Nell) and Dianne Steenberger; close friend, Mary Bennett; a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Sunday at Fountain Run Funeral Home with interment in Fountain Run Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. Saturday, and from 8:00 A.M. until funeral service time at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday at Fountain Run Funeral Home.
