Carley Fay Vibbert, age 70, of Fountain Run, KY died Sunday, October 9, 2016 at T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow, KY. The Monroe County, KY native was born April 26, 1946 son of the late James Orvill and Laura Susan (Sprowl) Vibbert. He married Carole Williams December 16, 1967 who preceded him in death October 2, 2009 and Linda Stephens June 17, 2015 who survives. Other than his parents and first wife his brothers, Wendell & Ralph Vibbert & sister, Lois Jean Vibbert preceded him in death. He worked at Sprowl’s Lumber Co for many years, full time farmer and member of Fountain Run Church of Christ. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the Fountain Run Funeral Home Roger Warren will officiate Burial will be in the Fountain Run Cemetery. Michael Cavitt, Danny Parsons, James Wells, Carol Key, Rob Crowe, Morris Maxey Sr., Scotty Gass & Ruben Buck served as honorary pallbearers. Billy Gass, Bobby Key, Jerry Kerr, Buddy Jordan, Matt Key & Morris Maxey Jr. served as pallbearers. Visitation will be Tuesday 1 – 8 p.m. & Wednesday, after 8 a.m. until service time at the Fountain Run Funeral Home. His survivors include; wife, Linda Stephens Vibbert of Fountain Run, son, Terry Vibbert and wife Tricia of Nashville, TN, brothers, Orvill Vibbert Jr. and wife Betty of Haywood, Bobby Lee Vibbert of Fountain Run, Quenton Vibbert and wife Peggy of Smith Grove, sister, Elvie Coulter of Glasgow, step-children, Linda Gail Wheeler of Westmoreland, Scotty Gass of Tompkinsville & Billy Gass of Fountain Run, step-grandchildren, Tanner Gass, Clarissa Moore & Dakota Gass & host of nieces, nephews & many friends.
